Daniel Cook is Head of English and Associate Director of the Centre for Scottish Culture at the University of Dundee. He has published widely on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British and Irish literature, from Pope to Wordsworth. Recent books include Reading Swift’s Poetry and The Afterlives of Eighteenth-Century Fiction (both Cambridge University Press).
