Matthew L. Reznicek

Matthew L. Reznicek earned his BA from Creighton University in 2008 where he studied English and Irish Literature, before enrolling at Queen’s University Belfast for both his MA and his PhD. His first book, The European Metropolis: Paris and Nineteenth-Century Irish Women Novelists, is forthcoming with Clemson University Press/Liverpool University Press. He has published in Nineteenth-Century Literature, Women’s Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal and several edited collections. His research area is broadly 19th-century British and Irish literature, focusing specifically on women’s literature, the representation of the city, economics in literature and opera in the novel.
