Deven M. Parker is a PhD Candidate in English at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where her dissertation examines how burgeoning communication networks like the Post Office and the optical telegraph circulated information and power in Romantic-era Britain and the Atlantic. She also writes on eighteenth-century drama, as well as current topics in media and infrastructure studies.
